Arina Finds Strength in Faith
Arina, an 11-year-old girl from Ukraine, has grown up in a loving Christian family. Her parents brought her to the Superbook Club several years ago, and she has been faithfully attending it ever since. Despite her familiarity with the Club, Arina continues to enjoy the Club and still finds new and useful lessons that resonate with her daily life. "The Bible heroes we learn about at the Club, as well as Chris and Joy, face the same problems we do today," says Arina.
Arina's faith journey has not been without challenges. When her classmates discovered that she believes in God, they began mocking and insulting her. At first, Arina felt sad and hurt, but then she remembered the stories of the apostles Peter and Paul, whom she had recently learned about at the Superbook Club. Even though they were persecuted and imprisoned, they rejoiced in the midst of their trials, and God delivered them. Inspired by their resilience, Arina has learned to stay calm when classmates persecute her and to not hold grudges against anyone. "I continue to share about God with those who listen to me. And recently, one of my classmates also came to the Superbook Club."
The Superbook Club has been a sanctuary for Arina, where she found true friends and felt understood and welcomed. She enjoys watching different programs on the Superbook YouTube channel, especially the "Drawing with Superbook" episodes. For the second year, Arina has been studying at an art school, and she loves drawing Gizmo, different animals, and Bible heroes. "I am eagerly waiting for new episodes," she says with excitement.
The way Superbook helped Arina find community and the boldness to share her faith despite persecution is a testament to the transformative power of faith and the importance of reaching young souls around the world with the Gospel.
