A Transformative Superbook Event in Honduras
In the quiet community of Omoa, Honduras, something extraordinary happened in October of 2025. Over the course of two days, the Superbook team held two special events at a local school, bringing the message of God’s love to children eager for hope and truth.
The first day began with a viewing of “Roar!”—an episode of CBN Animation’s Superbook that tells the story of Daniel in the lions’ den. From Daniel’s courage, the children learned about the importance of prayer and how God strengthens us to do what is right, even in difficult times. After the video, a sudden power outage shortened the activity, forcing everyone outside due to the heat, but not before the children received their Gizmo Summary Sheets to review for the next day.
The second event began with prayer and a warm welcome. This time, the group was divided by age—older children in one group, younger ones in another. As the team reviewed the previous lesson, they were amazed by the children’s enthusiasm and understanding. Their answers showed they had truly taken time to read and reflect on the material given to them the previous day. Joy filled the air as everyone sang “The Salvation Poem,” creating a vibrant moment of worship before continuing with the third lesson and the “Signposts” video, which shows how the story of Daniel points to Jesus and opened the door to share the Gospel with the children.
Then came the most powerful moment of all:
All 103 children said “yes” to the call of repentance and to the gift of salvation and eternal life that Christ Jesus offers.
The team described it as their greatest joy and privilege—to witness God’s Spirit moving so clearly among these young hearts. They reminded the children that they can have a personal relationship with their Creator—a loving Father who listens, understands, forgives, and loves them so much that he sent his Son to die on the cross for them.
