About The 700 Club

A daily program featuring Gordon Robertson and Terry Meeuwsen, The 700 Club is a mix of news and commentary, interviews, feature stories, and Christian ministry. The 700 Club has the variety and pacing of a morning show with live guests, special features, music, prayer, and ministry. It also features in-depth investigative reporting by the CBN News team. The show has been on the air continuously since 1966; The 700 Club is one of the longest-running programs in broadcast history.

 

About the hosts

GORDON ROBERTSON is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Christian Broadcasting Network, as well as a member of CBN’s Board of Directors. He is also Chancellor of Regent University and the Chairman of the Board of Operation Blessing, CBN’s humanitarian organization. 

The son of Pat and Dede Robertson, Gordon graduated from Yale University in 1980 and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Washington and Lee University in 1984. He then practiced law in Norfolk, Virginia, for 10 years.

Terry Meeuwsen, born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, discovered her God-given vocal talent early, performed with the New Christy Minstrels, and was crowned Miss America 1973, using her platform to share her faith. Her broadcasting career led to the Christian Broadcasting Network, where since 1993 she has co-hosted The 700 Club, sharing God’s love with millions. An author and mother of seven (five adopted), she founded Orphan’s Promise in 2006; it has since merged into Operation Blessing, CBN’s global humanitarian ministry. 

CBN 700 Club and 700 Club Interactive Talent and Multimedia Producer | Ashley grew up in Suffolk, Virginia and attended James Madison University for her bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and minor studies in Theater.

After graduating from JMU in 2015, Ashley started her career at CBN as a Social Media Marketing Producer for The 700 Club. Not only did she assist in creating daily content for the The 700 Club’s social media platforms, but she and her colleague at the time were known as the “Social Sistas” and would provide exclusive interviews of 700

CBN Vice President of The 700 Club | This New Jersey native moved to Virginia for grad school at Regent University, then a blind date with a southern girl changed his life. Three kids later, Andrew is the VP of The 700 Club, and a co-host of 700 Club Interactive. Prior to these roles he served as CBN’s Sports Reporter, interviewing the likes of John Wooden, Michael Irvin, James Brown, and Louis Zamperini, and reporting from the Super Bowl, Final Four, and World Series. John Jessup serves as the main news anchor for CBN, based at the network's news bureau in Washington, D.C. He joined CBN News in September 2003, starting as a national correspondent and then covering the Pentagon and Capitol Hill.

His work in broadcast news has earned him several awards in reporting, producing, and coordinating election coverage. While at CBN, John has reported from several places, including Moore, Oklahoma, after the historic EF5 tornado and parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas devastated by Hurricane Katrina. He also traveled to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, during the height

Charlene Aaron serves as a general assignment reporter, news anchor, co-host of The 700 Club, co-host of 700 Club Interactive, and co-host of The Prayerlink on the CBN News Channel. She covers various social issues, such as abortion, gender identity, race relations, and more.

Before joining CBN News in 2003, she was a personal letter writer for Dr. Pat Robertson.

Charlene attended Old Dominion University and Elizabeth City State University. She is an ordained minister and pastor’s wife. She lives in Smithfield, VA, with her husband.
