Jesus Is a Giver—Are You?
At 82, Suzan Gray plays the piano for 3 church services every Sunday.
Suzan explained, “I had it in my heart and in my head at four and five years old. And it had to be God. I would hear something on the radio coming home at night, like from church or whatever, and I would sit down at the piano and play what I heard. And I played for my first wedding when I was 12. So, for music, it's just like breathing.”
She wants to use her gift to point people to Christ.
“I hope that people hear not only the music, but they sense the presence of Who made music. God made music, and I just simply happen to be the instrument that can be used to make it happen,” said Suzan.
As a CBN partner, Suzan believes that God is also using The 700 Club and Operation Blessing as instruments to spread the Gospel.
Suzan said, “To see the power of God in situations of people that couldn't walk, couldn't talk, couldn't hear, and all of a sudden, you're seeing that happen, and it is exciting and thrilling!”
Thinking about how Operation Blessing provided disaster relief to flood victims, she added, “And to be so committed as to say that we love you and we are giving you food, we are giving you help.”
Sharing these stories with her friends helps strengthen their faith in God and His continued work in people’s lives.
Suzan said, “It's a blessing to be able to have some place to direct people to for incredible stories.”
Suzan has been giving to CBN for over 50 years. For her, it’s as natural as the music in her heart.
Suzan explained, “Just like the song says, ‘My desire is to be like Jesus.’ Jesus was a giver. I have given to people that are suffering and otherwise would not have help. They would not have water. They would not have food, and that might literally save their life. God is being glorified and magnified, and people are getting saved, and that is worth everything.”
“Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.” Will you partner with CBN and help plant generously around the world?
