She Drank Blood Searching for Power Until God Found Her

“I went, "Oh, that might have been too far --- and I went outside and its like fear everywhere.…”

Annetta Caldwell’s story is one of profound trauma, spiritual darkness, and ultimate redemption. Sexually abused by a family member from ages three to twelve, she carried deep shame, isolation, and emotional pain throughout her childhood. As a teenager, desperate for belonging and relief, she turned to drugs, alcohol, self-harm, and eventually the occult. What began as experimentation with witchcraft and séances quickly escalated into full immersion, including satanic rituals and blood ceremonies, as Annetta sought acceptance while spiraling deeper into fear, depression, and spiritual bondage.

After years of addiction, despair, and anger toward God, Annetta reached a breaking point. Exhausted and broken, she cried out to God for help. That desperate prayer marked the beginning of her transformation. Through recovery meetings, sobriety, and ultimately surrendering her life to Jesus Christ, she began rebuilding from the inside out. Though she found salvation, deeper healing came later through deliverance counseling, where she confronted and renounced the spiritual strongholds tied to her past.

Today, Annetta is free from the shame, addiction, and oppression that once defined her life. As a wife, mother of seven, author, and ministry leader, she now dedicates herself to helping young people overcome fear, rejection, and trauma through the hope and healing of Christ. Her testimony stands as a powerful reminder that no matter how far gone one feels from God, He is more than able to redeem.
