‘Thanks To Operation Blessing, I Can Eat!’
At an age when many retire, Elizabeth says she can’t afford to. Even with Social Security and a job, it’s still not enough.
“I am retired, but my retirement, you know, it's not sufficient. So, I have to continue working. And with those two paychecks combined, I still am in need. My bills are very high, and I’ve seen myself go through rough times, very rough times, just having to eat what I have and trying to make with what I have,” Elizabeth said.
That’s when she turned to Kingdom Investing Outreach Center for help with food. They are a ministry partner with Operation Blessing.
Elizabeth continues, describing the food she received and her experience: “Wonderful—the meats, the rice, the beans, the bread. It's just the love that you get when you come in, you know, these ladies are wonderful.”
And Elizabeth said having help with food means there is money left to pay the bills.
“It's just a good feeling having your storage, your pantry and your refrigerator full because somebody gave it to you, and you didn’t have the money for it. And now you can buy your other essentials, you know, you’re able to afford it,” Elizabeth said.
Thanks to you, Elizabeth and so many others are able to feed their families.
“Oh, I am so grateful to you guys. I mean, I hope God keeps on, you know, continuing to bless you. And thank you, really, really thank you from my heart,” said Elizabeth.
