From One Less Paycheck to 80% Income Increase

“God loves a cheerful giver. That's always been deep inside of me for, you know, 25, 30 years.”

Steve Fischer has worked in the food industry as a pricing manager for 14 years.
“God is my provider. God is giving to me everything I’m giving back. And I trust Him, and I know that I can't out give Him.”

His wife, Sheri, agrees.

“God blesses us with so much and for us to just be able to give away what He's given us is always in my mind.”

Still, in 2016, when their first daughter, Ruby was born, and Sheri left her career to be a stay-at-home mom, one less paycheck weighed heavily on her mind.

Sheri said, “It was hard. And it was putting our trust not in ourselves, putting our trust in God that He would provide and knowing that this is a leap of faith. “
The Fischers kept giving. Then, after their second daughter, Noelle was born, Steve discovered Superbook.

Steve said, “I had known of CBN for, you know, years through The 700 Club, but I hadn't known about Superbook. But I was like, this looks very promising. This looks biblically based. This looks like the stories of the Bible. This looks like something that children should be watching.”

The Fischers became CBN partners and began receiving Superbook dvds in the mail. Ruby and Noelle are fans.

Ruby and Noelle said, “We have all the episodes on this app.”

“It was always exciting to get the new ones,” said Sheri. “What's it going to be about which story now?”

Then in 2022, the Fischers increased their giving to CBN.
Steve said, “I had been reading the scripture, and God was telling me, I bless those who bless my Jewish brethren, you know, Israel, so CBN Israel.”

Today, the Fischers continue to increase giving wherever God directs. Steve’s income has kept pace with their giving. His salary, bonuses and other perks have increase by more than 80%. The Fischers believe a key to kingdom living is a lifestyle of lavish generosity.

Sheri said, “I have a lot of peace and joy. God has always provided more and more since we've been giving more and more.”

“He's asked me, and He is asked all of us through the Bible to test Him in giving,” said Steve. “And so I have been and He’s been coming back to me faithful.”
