Ravit Experiences Salvation and Transformation
In vibrant Cambodia, a young boy named Ravit embarked on a journey that would transform his life. At 12 years old, Ravit struggled with laziness and often found himself in trouble with friends and teachers. His poor study habits and tendency to hang out aimlessly made him a challenge both at home and at school.
However, Ravit’s life took a remarkable turn when he began attending church every week and helping to serve in the church. This new environment introduced him to the stories of the Bible through Superbook, which played a significant role in his transformation. Ravit’s favorite Superbook episode, “In the Beginning,” taught him a profound lesson about sin and redemption. “This story teaches me that everyone has sinned… I will confess my sins to God and obey Him. God will forgive and save me,” Ravit shares.
Another episode that deeply impacted Ravit was “The Fiery Furnace,” which tells the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Their unwavering faith and obedience to God, even in the face of danger, inspired Ravit to be faithful and obedient in his own life. “Because of the obedience of the three friends, the faithful God saved and stayed with them under all circumstances. So, I must be faithful and obedient to Him, He will protect and be with me,” Ravit reflects.
Through prayer and the lessons learned from Superbook, Ravit experienced a significant change. “Because of my prayer, I have changed a lot. I have a better memory, learning well in advance and helping my parents work at home,” he says. Ravit’s newfound dedication extended beyond his studies and home life. He began to share the good news of Jesus with his neighbors and invites friends to church. “I am no longer a captive and know how to share the good news of Jesus with my neighbors. So far, I have brought three friends to church with me,” Ravit proudly states.
