Lita Experiences God's Love Through Superbook
In the vibrant community of Cambodia, a 14-year-old girl named Lita has experienced a remarkable transformation. Her journey began about five years ago when she first stepped into a church, initially just to have fun with her friends. Little did she know, this decision would change her life in profound ways.
Before coming to faith, Lita struggled with many challenges. She was often lazy, performed poorly in school, disobeyed her parents, and had a tendency to be rude to adults. Conflicts with friends were common, and lying was a frequent issue.
Then one day, her Sunday school teacher introduced her to Superbook. These animated Bible stories captivated Lita. Two Superbook episodes in particular left a lasting impression on her: “Jonah” and “The Fiery Furnace.” These stories taught Lita the importance of obedience to God and His Word. She learned that God is always with us, and He saves those who believe and obey Him.
As Lita’s understanding of God’s love deepened, so did her involvement in the church. She became a volunteer, joined the worship team, and even assisted her Sunday school teacher. Her transformation was evident to everyone around her. She became more obedient and respectful towards her elders, teachers, and family members, including her mother and grandmother.
Lita’s newfound faith also inspired her to share the Gospel with others. She began bringing friends to church and praying for her family and friends. Her dedication and enthusiasm were contagious, and soon her mother and sister started attending church with her.
Lita’s story is a testament to the transformative power of the Gospel and the impact of engaging, educational tools like Superbook.
