In the quiet mountain community of El Pacayal in Honduras, nestled far from the bustle of city life, something extraordinary happened in May. At a local school, 40 children gathered for a special event featuring CBN Animation’s Superbook—an experience that would leave a lasting mark on their hearts and futures.

This outreach was part of a broader initiative aligned with Operation Blessing’s Community Health Volunteers (CHV) Program, bringing spiritual nourishment alongside physical care. The featured Superbook episode, “The Ten Commandments,” became the centerpiece of a day filled with learning, laughter, and life-changing truth.

Through creative and practical teaching, the children explored the importance of loving God, loving others, and obeying God’s commandments—even when it’s difficult or unpopular. The message was clear: obedience brings blessing, while disobedience leads to consequences.

The event also partnered with the “I Say No” program, reinforcing values of safety and personal responsibility. Children were fully engaged—watching the episode closely, answering questions, singing songs, and competing for prizes as they recited the SuperTruth (the main takeaway from the lesson) and memorized the SuperVerse (memory verse). Their enthusiasm was contagious, and their joy unmistakable.

Though El Pacayal is a small, remote village, the welcome was warm and heartfelt. Teachers and families expressed deep gratitude, recognizing the event as a blessing from God. In places like this, children rarely have access to programs like Superbook—making this moment all the more meaningful.

Each child received a Superbook kit, a Ten Commandments poster, and a craft activity tailored to their grade level. Younger students created a colorful Ten Commandments Wheel, while older ones assembled a Ten Commandments Mini-Book. Teachers were encouraged to follow up with review sessions to reinforce the lesson and complete the crafts.

But the most powerful moment came when 33 children prayed the prayer of faith. They asked Jesus to forgive their sins and enter their hearts and they received him as their Lord and Savior.

“It fills us with joy and gratitude to witness the miracle of new life in the hearts of these young ones—who now have the right to be called children of God,” shared a Superbook team member.

This is the heartbeat of CBN Animation’s Superbook: reaching children in every corner of the world with the love of Jesus, the truth of Scripture, and the hope of salvation. From mountain villages to urban schools, Superbook is transforming lives—one story, one child, one heart at a time.

“It is a blessing and a privilege to bring the good news of salvation to every community and every place God allows us to reach.”
