Tornado Clean Up Continues in Texas
The EF3 tornado that devasted Van, Texas, caused approximately $40 million in damages, officials said.
Meanwhile, Operation Blessing is still on the ground, providing support and relief to those affected by Sunday's deadly twister.
Volunteers have been helping residents clean up and sort through what's left of their belongings.
Residents Debbie Jones and her husband had been living in their house for the past 10 years. They huddled together at home praying while the storm hit, and though they weren't hurt, they were overwhelmed when they saw the extent of the damage.
"Our lives are going to be different, I know, and this community, but I know that the love and support of everybody is gonna help us rebuild," Jones said.
"And we've just been amazed at all the volunteers who have come to help us. All I can say is we're blessed. We're very blessed," she added.
Jones said all the love and support have restored her faith in humanity.
