'Hope on a Rope': Unique Hebrew Language Program Lends Understanding to Biblical Roots

JERUSALEM, Israel – It should not come as a surprise to most that the Bible was not written in the English language. 

Melissa Briggs has studied biblical Hebrew in Israel, and she recently joined us in our Jerusalem studios to explain why Christians might want to learn some Hebrew. She started a program called Explore Hebrew, which focuses on "understanding the original, beautiful meaning of five or ten or fifteen biblical words that are central to our faith."
