Healing the Hurt and Silencing the Bullies!

Durga got bullied and teased in school because she had clubfeet. Durga explained, “They called me Lame, like it was my name. It really hurt my feelings. I lost my confidence and stopped going to school.”

She needed surgery, but her parents couldn’t afford it. “My feet twisted more and more out of shape. It hurt so much,” said Durga. “I thought I would have to live like this forever.”

Then her family heard about Operation Blessing. They reached out to us, and Operation Blessing soon arranged and paid for her surgery. “I am very happy,” said Durga. “Now my feet are straight like everyone else's, and I can walk normally. Nobody makes fun of me anymore.”

Durga’s confidence is back. “Now I can play with my sister without any pain and problems, and I have found hope in my life,” she said. “I’m starting school again soon, and I want to become a teacher.  Thank you all for helping me. I have a new life. God bless you abundantly.”
