"Sunrise in Heaven": Catch a Glimpse of Corbin Bernsen's New Movie

Corbin Bernsen's new movie, Sunrise in Heaven, is inspired by a pretty incredible true love story.

Jan Hurst’s real life as recounted in her book, His Sunrise, My Sunset, and now a film, shares with audiences a moving message of how love can see you through the darkest of days and how faith can give you the strength even when you're at your weakest.

"After a devastating car crash leaves her husband on life support, one woman (Jan) must find strength in her faith as she faces the prospect of his passing. Recalling their courtship through flashbacks, she relives the early days of their relationship and how they fell in love. Their journey wasn’t easy as she faced resistance from her obstinate father (played by Bernsen), who made it clear he didn’t want his daughter dating anyone from the military. But their love was stronger than any obstacle encountered in this true story of family, faith, and resilience." (Synopsis from 130a)
