Mike Huckabee Warns: "God Will Remove His Hand" Of Protection from America If We Don't Stand With Israel
During a rally in support of Israel in Washington DC on Sunday, Mike Huckabee warned that God will remove his hand of protection from America if the United States does not stand with Israel. “If America doesn’t stand with Israel when those who seek to attack it get close to destroying it, then I do believe this: God will remove His hand from us.” Huckabee made the comments at an event he sponsored along with Concerned Women For America.

Mike Huckabee at Stand With Israel rally: “If Israel falls, if we stand back and allow them to be attacked, to be destroyed, and by the way I don’t really worry that that is going to happen because I do believe that before that were to happen, God’s hand would intervene and the world will see that God will keep His promise to Israel, but if America doesn’t stand with Israel when those who seek to attack it get close to destroying it, then I do believe this: God will remove His hand from us.”
Huckabee has been a long supporter of Israel and has led Christian tours over there dozens of times. He’s invested from a heart standpoint and a biblical one too. If Huckabee runs for president, he’ll have the, ‘street cred’ to talk intellectually and spiritually about the nation of Israel and that will be a strong connection point with evangelicals if he runs for president.
Concerned Women For America, one of the top influential political evangelical organizations in the country, has recently added support for Israel as one of their top legislative and moral objectives. It is one of their core beliefs and that gives you a glimpse as to how connected evangelicals are with the state of Israel. Why? The reality is there would be no Christianity without Judaism. And let's remember: All the way back in Genesis, God makes a promise to the Jewish people. It's called the Abrahamic Covenant. It says in the Bible:
"Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and pin you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Oh, and God promised them land too.
"On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your offspring I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates, the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”
Bottom line: Supporting Israel and the Jewish people is being on God's side. And that's a GREAT place to be.
