Exclusive: Marco Rubio Picks Up Two More Social Conservative Endorsements
Hey social conservatives. Marco Rubio means business and he's taking the family values thing seriously.
The Brody File has learned that the Republican Senate Candidate in Florida will announce shortly that he’s being endorsed by Priests For Life National Director Father Frank Pavone and David Barton, Founder and President of WallBuilders.
Read quotes from soon to be released press release below:
“Marco Rubio has been a champion in the ongoing struggle to advance the rights of our unborn brothers and sisters,” said Father Pavone. “He has been both a servant and a voice for the vulnerable. Marco Rubio is a pro-life warrior.”
“I am honored to support Marco Rubio, who I am confident will be an effective advocate for working families and the values that have made America exceptional for over two centuries,” said Barton. “Throughout his life, Marco has been a friend of the family. He has worked to defend life and uphold our traditional values, while being a fiscally responsible steward who understands that today’s tax-and-spend policies have devastating consequences on working families. Because the Senate plays such a critical role in shaping the nation’s judiciary, Marco Rubio’s election is vitally important to help ensure that only strict constructionist judges are confirmed to the federal bench."
By the way, for those of you keeping score Rubio has now been endorsed by groups like Concerned Women for America, Eagle Forum, Family Research Council Action PAC and National Right to Life not to mention Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum and Congressman Mike Pence (just to name a few)
You can easily make the argument that Marco Rubio's campaign in Florida is one of the best run in the entire country. This thing has been humming along for a long time now. Even though polls show a tighter race with Crist as an Independent, you have to wonder how Crist competes and holds up against the well-oiled Rubio machine. Not to mention a candidate who has major "street cred" with social conservatives.
Rubio speaks at the Family Policy Council Annual Dinner in Orlando this weekend.
