Comedian Jeff Foxworthy to Host Bible Game Show

Jeff FoxworthyKnown for his redneck comedy and stint on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, comedian Jeff Foxworthy is set to appear on GSN’s new one-hour game show, The American Bible Challenge. Still in development, the series is set to shoot later this month with Foxworthy as the pilot episode’s host.

A devout Christian, Foxworthy also acts as a producer of this new show that tests contestants’ knowledge of the Bible.

"I am excited to be hosting a show about the bestselling book of all time. It will be interesting to find out what people really know, and an opportunity to present the Bible in a fun and entertaining way,” says Foxworthy, according to GSN.

Each contestant will get the opportunity to share their story and the winnings will be donated to faith-based organizations. News about when the show will air is forthcoming.
