Rick Santorum tells The Brody File that if he loses Ohio he is “not going to wrap it up.” Furthermore, he says that Romney has the money but not the connection to people.

“You give me 12 times the money here in Ohio, and you’ll find out how well I’ve done. I’d be lapping the block with him,” he said.

I interviewed Santorum backstage Monday evening after his event in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

David Brody: There’s going to be a call, if you lose Ohio, you know, it’s time for Rick Santorum to wrap it up.

Rick Santorum: Rick Santorum is not going to wrap it up. Here’s the point that I make. Mitt Romney is not going to be able to win the race in the General Election by outspending his opponent, 12 to 1. He obviously has a problem. You give me 12 times as much money as Mitt Romney in the state of Pennsylvania, and I run against him, and we’ll find out how well he does.

You give me 12 times the money here in Ohio, and you’ll find out how well I’ve done. I’d be lapping the block with him. The point is this is a candidate that money is all behind, but the people just are not connecting with, and that’s what the story of Ohio is.
