The Obama family vacation is over and President Obama is back to work in the Oval Office today.

Here's what he's dealing with - an economy that's not in any better shape than it was when he left for vacation.

He'll meet with senior advisors and get a detailed economic briefing, then he will make a statement about the economy to the Press in the Rose Garden at 12:30 p.m.

I'm sorry, but it's hard to be an adult wearing a bike helmet and not look kind of goofy. I totally support putting safety first (please don't send me emails, I'm not saying he shouldn't have worn the helmet) but this just makes me laugh.

Remember when President Bush was driving his pickup truck on his Texas ranch on vacation a couple of years ago, not wearing a seat belt? These guys have to follow the rules, or they pay.

It's just kind of funny to me to see President Obama riding a bike, wearing a bike helmet. But it looks like he and Malia are having a good time, which is likely what this was all about. So that's good.
