Agape Metro Church is breaking new ground in Tulsa. The goal is to reach as many people as possible by meeting both physical and spiritual needs. To do this the church has organized block parties.

Pastor Bill Eubanks explains the vision. "The block parties are to reach a community, to reach an apartment complex, to see what needs are there. Ultimately in our core values we are trying to plant churches and/or help smaller churches to reach out in their arena."

Anywhere from 300 to 1,000 people attend each party. They receive food, clothing, and the gospel.

"One thing that weve seen accomplished is the planting of a Hispanic work in west Tulsa," says Eubanks. "While doing a survey and while doing a block party, we discovered a need there."

In addition to church plants, many lives have been radically changed. Tim and Diane were having marriage problems when they found out about Agape Metro Church. Tim explains, "The marriage was rocky at a point, and brother Bill was introduced to us. The old way of life was not working at all at that time, and a neighbor, a good friend, wanted to know if we would talk to this pastor if it would help. Nothing else was working. Thats how we got associated with this church, and it's been a blessing ever since."

Pastor Bill Eubanks easily sums up the spirit of Agape Metro: "I just love this church, because it's one beggar telling another beggar where to find food."
