Director Michael Bay, who's most known for his work on the Transformers movie franchise, is delving into the world of war with his new film, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

Starring John Krasinski, Max Martini, and Toby Stevens, the movie follows the U.S. soldiers who, in 2012, fought to save the lives of their fellow citizens in Benghazi against overwhelming forces.

In a brand new featurette about the Paramount Pictures film, the real-life heroes share their side of this recent American history and how their personal faith played a part.

"Faith teaches you how to live with courage, how to live with honor, gives you something to strive for," says Tanto (portrayed in 13 Hours by actor Pablo Schreiber). "To me, that’s the American spirit."
