A Broken Home Made New for a Family in Desperate Need!
There was nothing that Tise could do when she saw that her house had collapsed.
“The wind blew so hard that day. I looked up and heard a cracking sound from the rotting wooden beam that held the roof up,” she said looking up to where the ceiling once was. “When the strong winds came the house fell down.”
We first met the family through Tise’s 10-year-old daughter, Angel, who takes part in an afterschool program supported by CBN’s Orphan’s Promise. She told us what she remembered the day her house collapsed. “That day I heard rain that sounded like stones hitting the roof. When I got out, I saw that our house was destroyed. I was sad to see my house like that.”
Tise is a hard working wife and mother. She supports her disabled husband and son and two other children. “I worked as a house cleaner from house to house. From that, I earned about 10 USD a week.”
Tise had no way to rebuild her house on her own. So Operation Blessing provided some help.
“When Operation Blessing came and told me that they would build my house, it was like a dream come true for me!" she said with tears in her eyes. "I knew that my kids would not have to worry about rain and storms anymore. I was so grateful to God,” she added tears now flowing.
When the house was complete, the family moved in and life is getting back to normal.
“I want to say thank you so much to the people who support Operation Blessing for helping to rebuild our house! Thank you and God bless you,” declared the grateful mom with a smile.
