A Prophetic Leader Shares New Vision for This Season

ABOUT THE LACKIES

Paul and his wife, Ashley, are a dynamic and highly impassioned couple whose hearts are targeted towards impacting the Kingdom and being a part of raising up God’s end-time army.  Paul and Ashley travel nationally and internationally teaching, preaching, and prophesying the Word of the Lord as keynote speakers at conferences and training seminars.  Both have been raised in minister's homes and pull from the strength of a godly heritage with a no-compromise vision.  Paul and Ashley are associated ordained ministers with Christian International in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. They are a part of Vision Church at Christian International under the oversight of Bishop Tom and Bishop Jane Hamon.  Paul and Ashley both serve as leaders in the local church in several capacities such as the worship team and prophetic teams.  They are co-owners of The Garden at Peach Creek, a garden and landscape construction center in their hometown of Santa Rosa Beach, FL.  

GORDON AND THREE ANSWERS TO PRAYER
 
Paul says he met Gordon about ten years ago when he was asked by Tom Hamon to show Gordon around a bit before a big event.  As they rode in Paul’s mini-van, Gordon noticed a photo of Paul and wife Ashley, and asked whether they had children.  “Of course, he didn’t know that we had been on a seven-year infertility journey,” Paul says.  He told Gordon they did not have any children yet, but they’d love to have some.  “Gordon prayed for us before leaving the van, and said, ‘I believe by this time next year you’ll have a child.’”  Paul was thankful for the prayer and hoped what Gordon had said would indeed come to pass.  

One night not long afterward, Paul was asleep and had a dream that he and Gordon were in Asia ministering together to large groups of people.  He suddenly woke to the sound of Ashley sounding upset in the next room.  Confused at first, Paul woke up enough to realize that Ashley was actually expressing joy over a test she’d just taken … a pregnancy test, which was positive.  They welcomed Elisha into the world some months later, then Samuel, and then Victoria.  After years of infertility, they consider all three children miracles, and Gordon’s prayer a catalyst.  

THOUGHTS ON PROPHECY
 
“I’m a prophet in a family of prophets,” Paul says.  “I’ve travelled some four thousand miles with my dad, also a prophet.”  Their philosophy about prophecy is based on something Bill Hamon, Tom’s father and the Founder of Christian International, said years ago: “God is more concerned with accuracy of the heart than accuracy of words.”  He also is guided by Bill’s teaching about false prophets, using Balaam of the Old Testament as an example of a prophet who accurately spoke what God said, but with sinful motives, making him a false prophet.  As to all that’s going on in the world today, Paul sums up his thoughts this way: “Everything facing us brings us back to the core (principle) that we can’t make it in life without the Lord.
