Thanksgiving comes and goes so fast, doesn’t it? So much preparation and planning goes into that brief time we all sit around the table. Did you know that in the time of Jesus, the Sunday before Passover was “lamb selection day?” It was the day that Jewish families would come to the temple in Jerusalem and choose their “perfect lamb” for the Passover. The lamb would live with them as a pet for several days before being slaughtered for the Passover meal.
