She Wasn’t Expecting One Miracle… Let Alone Two

“Life with sinus issues was very unbearable.I would have to constantly blow my nose. There always needs to be tissues around—a box of tissues.”

Nikki Luccese never knew a day without congestion. Breathing clearly was never normal.
“There would be like puffiness in my face. In some cases I couldn’t even speak ’cause there would be so much mucus behind my throat and in my nasal area,” Nikki said.

In 2018, doctors discovered Nikki had a deviated septum—a displacement of the bone between her nostrils. They didn’t consider it bad enough for surgery, so Nikki still got no relief. “I pretty much presumed at that time it would never go away,” she recalled. “I gave up praying about this mainly because it’s been going on for now 30 years.”

She continued to push through, struggling to breathe, especially during workouts. Four years passed and another setback came. A mistimed martial arts kick injured her left foot. Nikki recalled, “And when I put my foot down, I was sort of limping around in a circle, like: ‘oh, oh no, what do I do now?’ I just shook it off, kept moving, focused on upper body, pretending like it wasn’t there.”

Days later, while moving around her living room, the pain returned. This time, it dropped her to the floor. “It was so much pain like I’ve never felt. And I was like, oh wow, this is really bad. What am I gonna do?” Nikki said.

She iced it and waited, hoping for some relief. It didn’t come. The diagnosis was plantar fasciitis—an inflammation of the tissue running from the toes to the heel. A shot brought some relief; however, the best prescription was rest, not an option when you’re raising two kids on your own. “I kept praying and praying and praying,” Nikki recalled. “And I’m just like, God, please, you know, I can’t live like this. Like I can’t be a single mom and have two kids and have to go and do all these things and work and without a foot.”

After six long months, Nikki was no better. Then, on April 18, 2025, Nikki turned on The 700 Club—just like always—hoping to hear a word of knowledge about her foot. What Terry Meeuwsen began praying surprised Nikki. Terry said, “There’s someone else; you have a deviated septum which is not an unusual thing. Lots of people have it but for you, it’s bigger than that. It affects your whole sinus cavity and infection.”

Nikki said, “I rose up from my lying position. I said, that’s me.”

Terry continued, “God’s healing that for you right now. You’re not gonna need surgery or anything else. Just receive that in Jesus’ name.”

Nikki recalled, “I felt a warm tingling sensation right here. So while I was experiencing this beautiful, miraculous miracle of healing on my face in my sinus area, I couldn’t help but be a little upset because my foot was the more pressing issue.”

But God wasn’t finished. Two weeks later, as Nikki was watching The 700 Club again, another prayer caught her off guard. Ashley said, “There’s somebody else watching, the Lord just highlighted left foot to me.”

"And I screamed and I said, left foot, left foot!” Nikki recalled.

Ashley prayed, “Anybody who has a left foot issue, excessive swelling, you’re not able to fully even use that foot or walk on that foot for whatever reason, I believe God is healing that for you right now, in Jesus’ name.”

“I was in shock for about 30 minutes, and I never felt pain in my foot again,” Nikki said. “I can run, I can walk. I don’t feel any stabbing pain. It’s never come back, ever. And thank you. I mean, God primarily—thank you guys for being the hands and feet of the Lord. Otherwise, things like this would never happen.”

Nikki still can’t explain why it happened twice—two words of knowledge, two healings, and a faith in God that’s now twice as strong. “I felt his massive huge power sweep through my home and do these miracles. And it was just like Acts II. And it was really cool,” Nikki said.
