Going Farther with the Gospel!

Pastor and evangelist Benny Hinn recently held a miracle healing crusade in Uganda. The event took place over four days (an extra night was added) at Miracle Centre Cathedral in Rubaga, Kampala, from June 27th to 30th, 2025, and included worship, prayer, and a focus on the Holy Spirit and anointing.  Attendees expressed hunger for God and a desire for healing and miracles.

Large Attendance

The crusade drew massive crowds, with reports of over 200,000 believers attending on the first day, and large numbers throughout the event.  Some reports suggest attendance of up to 1.5 million people over the three nights. People even lined up as early as 8:00am for the 7:00pm service, demonstrating their strong desire to attend.

Miracle Healings

Attendees reported experiencing various miracles, including the vanishing of throat cancer, the opening of blind eyes, and the disappearance of chronic pain.  Benny Hinn and his host, Pastor Robert Kayanja, facilitated the event.

Focus on the Holy Spirit

The messages emphasized the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in understanding and experiencing Jesus and divine healing. Pastor Hinn described the presence of God and the power of the Holy Spirit as being present at the event, and encouraged people to embrace the Holy Spirit in their lives.

Impact and Significance

The event also garnered a large media presence, with 100 million people watching across television in Africa and more than 200 million reached worldwide through social media and television.  Hinn declared that Uganda would "never be the same" after the event, viewing it as a historic visitation of the Holy Spirit.  He says the most moving moments for him personally were when he prayed with pastors from many different nations, such as 100 leaders from South Sudan, where they told him of the killing going on there - by fellow Christians.  Hinn also mentioned 100 pastors from China and others from Eritrea, whose governments persecute Christians, and others from Congo that touched his heart in their pleas for help.  The world doesn’t know about these things, he says.

Pastoral Engagement

Pastor Benny says 50,000 pastors attended, including the Ugandan President’s daughter, a special fourth evening event, uniting in prayer for healing and spiritual revival in the region.  He talked to them about the anointing and the importance of the Scriptures in life, and the Holy Spirit’s work.  At a banquet following the meeting, he says the Lord spoke to him saying, “I will give you Africa if you want it.”  With the pastors’ urging, he replied, “Yes, Lord.”

Meeting with President Museveni

Hinn met with the President and First Lady of Uganda, Yoweri and Janet Museveni, at State House Nakasero, and shared his hope for a peaceful nation and freedom of worship for Ugandans.  He says he talked with them about the meaning of life, that life is in the Person of Jesus Christ, and the importance of Scripture.

Since the Crusade

Pastor Benny says that following the crusade, 23 African countries have asked for crusades, including Zimbabwe, which will take place this October; South Africa, June of ’26; Congo, January of ’26; and Gabon.  The governments of six countries have offered to promote and fund the crusades.   The pastor has also heard it reported that 15 thousand people a week are coming to faith in Christ after watching the crusade messages on the internet.
