To Ukraine with Love
Recently Terry Meeuwsen and her adopted daughters visited the Ukraine. For her daughters it was a chance to catch up with old friends; for Terry it was a first-hand look at CBN’s WorldReach and Operation Blessing in action.
During my two weeks in Ukraine, I had the privilege of taking my three Ukrainian daughters back to the orphanage where they grew up. It was an exciting few days.
While in Ukraine I was able to see the amazing work that CBN WorldReach is doing. Our staff here in Kiev is helping to change lives, bringing smiles on the faces of young and old.
I met Lilia, the grandmother of three boys. Instead of putting them in an orphanage after their parents died, she was determined to take care of them -- on her pension of $30 a month. Operation Blessing is helping this loving grandmother by providing clothes for the boys, medicine for her, and food for the entire family.
We also visited many orphanages and ministries that CBN supports. What a joy it was to see children get toys and school supplies from Operation Blessing!
And with each stop -- each visit -- I couldn’t help but remember, it’s the faithful support of our CBN partners that’s putting a smile on so many faces in the Ukraine. God is using you to change this land.
So many lives are being touched in the Ukraine through Operation Blessing and CBN WorldReach – and it all begins with you. Thanks to your generous giving, we are able to give continued support to soup kitchens, street outreaches, orphanages, and so much more. Thank you CBN Partners. If you are not a partner, please join today. You’ll change lives here at home and around the world.
