Early Beginnings

Celeste Kellogg’s musical path developed at an early age in the heart of Virginia. “I began singing in church choir when I was very little, five years old,” she explained. Music quickly became her place of comfort and discovery. At home, she learned harmony and storytelling while singing with her dad to Alabama, James Taylor, and The Eagles. At twelve, she auditioned for the Radio Disney group RD7, launching her into a whirlwind year of major performances. “We performed in front of 11,000 people at the Ted Constant Center. We opened for Raven from That’s So Raven and later for Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, and Kelly Clarkson.” Those early experiences built her confidence and set her on a long-term path. “When I was fourteen, I started taking trips to Nashville, learning how to really write and form a song and an album. From there, the rest is history.”

Musical Achievements

Celeste’s sound blends classic country roots with modern pop and rock influences. “I like to say I am a country music artist with a flair for nineties to early two thousands pop and a touch of seventies and eighties rock nostalgia,” she said. Her singles Country Swagger and There’s a Beach Somewhere both charted on the Music Row Country Airplay chart and were featured on Spotify editorial playlists including Fresh Finds Country, New Music Nashville, and Gulf and Western, where There’s a Beach Somewhere has earned more than half a million streams. Across all platforms, Celeste has collected more than 18 million streams and 25,000 playlist adds. “I’ve just been writing music, performing and touring, and releasing albums and EPs. A lot has happened since then, including my song Dirt Road Dancing being featured in MLB The Show 2025,” she explained.

CMT has featured both music videos, and her accolades include the Nashville Universe Rising Star Award in 2016 and Female Vocalist of the Year in 2018. She has opened for Scotty McCreery, RaeLynn, Brett Eldredge, LeAnn Rimes, Canaan Smith, Easton Corbin, and other notable artists. “Spotify has featured a few of my singles on their editorial playlists, and Sam’s Club and Walmart even picked up my Christmas song Save a Dance for Me This Christmas for airplay,” Celeste added. Her career has been a mix of early ambition, consistent songwriting, and a clear dedication to crafting music that connects with listeners everywhere.

Faith in the Music

Celeste’s music is rooted deeply in her values. “If you listen to modern country music right now, mine is quite a bit different,” she shared. “I do not sing about getting drunk and all the other activities in country music songs these days. I want my music to bring someone closer to God, not further away.” She writes with intention, always aiming to leave listeners encouraged. “Even if I am writing a sad song, I try to turn it positive at the end. I want people to feel hope, not stay stuck.”

Her single Faith and Freedom grew from that same desire to uplift. She began writing it after witnessing a wave of hostility online. “I saw friends arguing with each other and forgetting their real personal friendships. It bothered me. Like the first line says, I turn on the TV just to turn it off.” For a while, the song paused in the writing process. “I could not figure out where I wanted it to go until Charlie Kirk was killed. Then I felt like this song needed to be finished.” The completed message focuses on unity and compassion. “This is not a left or right thing. Someone on the opposite side is not your enemy. They were created in the image of God just like you were.” It is a song shaped by conviction, faith, and Celeste’s belief that music can bring people together. “I want my songs to leave listeners feeling better than when they came. I always want to point them closer to God, not further away.”
