Superbook Inspires a Wave of Transformation Across Portugal
Across Portugal—from the northern hills to the vibrant heart of Lisbon—something extraordinary is happening. Teachers, parents, and children are experiencing the life-changing power of God’s Word through Superbook Academy, a Sunday school curriculum based on the animated series Superbook. As part of a nationwide teacher training marathon organized by the Evangelical Alliance, the Superbook team has been traveling the country, equipping educators and church leaders with tools to bring the Bible to life for the next generation.
With sessions already held in the northern and central parts of the country, as well as Lisbon, and more to come in the Algarve region, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. These gatherings have not only strengthened the reach of Superbook Academy and Superbook but have also sparked a renewed passion for children’s ministry.

The presence of Gizmo, Superbook’s beloved robot companion, was a highlight at the events—bringing joy and excitement to both children and adults. His appearance reminded everyone that learning about God can be fun, memorable, and deeply meaningful.
These training sessions have not only equipped teachers with practical tools but have also created a ripple effect of spiritual growth in classrooms and homes across Portugal.
