Superbook Brings Hope to Children in Guatemala
In the heart of Guatemala, where many families face daily struggles with poverty and limited access to resources, a special event brought light, laughter, and the love of God to a group of children who needed it most. As part of a mobile medical clinic initiative, a two-day Superbook outreach was held—designed not only to care for physical needs but to nourish young hearts with the truth of God’s Word.
This event was unlike any event the community had enjoyed before. With nearly 50 children in attendance, the Superbook team carefully crafted four engaging sessions over two days. Each session featured the powerful episode “Roar!”—which tells the story of Daniel and the lions’ den—a story unfamiliar to most of the children. The sessions utilized the Superbook Academy lessons that corresponded to the story of Daniel, with each lesson diving deeper than the last.
The children were captivated by Daniel’s unwavering trust in God, even in the face of danger. After each screening, they eagerly participated in interactive games and team challenges, answering questions about the episode and earning points for their teams. The excitement was contagious, and the lessons were unforgettable.
At the end of each day, the winning team received prizes, including printed Superbook materials. But every child left with something even more valuable—educational resources and a message of hope that they could carry home.

For children growing up in communities marked by economic and social hardship, this event was more than just fun—it was a moment of transformation. Through the story of Daniel, they learned that faith in God can give them strength in any situation.
