The Christian singer, songwriter duo Joey + Rory are known for their music, love story and faith in God despite the untimely death of Joey Feek. A documentary about the husband and wife heads to the big screen September 20th.

In many ways, the film honors his late wife and celebrates their wedding anniversary. They married on June 15, 2002. Joey died in March, following a long battle with cancer.

Earlier this week, Rory Feek shared the film's trailer on his Facebook page and also announced the film's debut. "It's going to be so special and I want everyone to be touched and inspired by her life," he wrote.

The Feeks began filming the documentary in preparation for the birth of their second child. They choose to simplify their lives by putting their music aside and staying at home.

The Feeks' move toward a more simple life is a powerful example for people to follow on so many levels. Not everyone can take a year off from work, but we can all take a few minutes a day to truly focus on what matters.

The call to simple may sound cliché. But cease the moment of peace and connections with those you love before the time is lost.
