Superbook Brings Joy to Costa Rica
In a warm and vibrant community in Cañas Guanacaste, Costa Rica, a weekend of purpose unfolded—one that will be remembered for years to come. This region is already experiencing transformation through Operation Blessing’s water and health projects. But this time, hope came in a different form: the life-changing message of Jesus through CBN Animation’s Superbook.
The Superbook team traveled many hours under the blazing sun to bring the gospel to every child who attended. They prepared a dynamic plan filled with creativity and joy: games, Superbook episodes, crafts, and more. Each activity was designed to help children understand God’s love in a way that was fun and unforgettable.
One of the most touching moments came when a child who had just accepted Jesus shared his faith with his mother by giving her a bracelet with colors that explain the gospel. That simple act spoke volumes—a child transformed by grace, eager to share the Good News at home.
Throughout the weekend, the team saw children praying, painting, and sitting proudly in front of a sign that read: “I am a child of God.” Gizmo, the beloved robot from Superbook, joined in the fun, teaching meaningful lessons through rallies and games. The children learned that following Jesus isn’t always easy but doing what’s right for him always brings joy.
The greatest celebration came when five children made the decision to follow Jesus for the first time. The team knew the angels in heaven were rejoicing with them that day!
Though the journey was long and exhausting, every moment was worth it. The Superbook team returned with hearts full, knowing they were instruments of God’s love and salvation for those who needed it most.
