Superbook Academy Eases Burdens
In the serene village of Samrong, nestled in Cambodia, lives a dedicated Sunday school teacher named Channon. At 41 years old, Channon has devoted two decades of her life to teaching children at Praise Jesus Christ Church. Her journey, however, has not been without its challenges.
For years, Channon meticulously prepared her Sunday school lessons by reading and searching the Scriptures, ensuring that the children memorized Bible verses and understood the stories. She also incorporated games to engage the children, though many were simply for fun and not always connected to the lessons. Despite her best efforts, Channon often felt the weight of creating effective lessons week after week.
Everything changed when Channon was invited by her church leader’s committee to join Superbook Academy’s orientation with other local church leaders. She had long desired a structured and transformative Sunday school curriculum for her children, and Superbook Academy provided just that. "Making disciples of the next generation of Cambodians is God’s plan A for all of us," she affirmed.
