Bible-Inspired Romance, 'The Song', Debuts on DVD
Just in time for National Marriage Week and Valentine's Day, the music-driven romantic drama "The Song" debuts on DVD Feb. 10.
Writers say the story of redemption was inspired by the Song of Solomon.
The music-driven romantic drama depicts the plight of an aspiring singer/songwriter who struggles with fame while holding on to love, his marriage, and meaning in his life.
The film was produced by AFFIRM Films and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
It features musical performances by leading actors Alan Powell, Anthem Lights' front man, and Caitlin Nicol-Thomas. The love story's soundtrack inlcudes 11 original songs.
Check out 7CI's recent interview with Powell. He talks about the new movie, his own struggles with balancing success and family, and the "forbidden" topics many churches fail to address.
