CBN.com It doesn't take long at a Good News Club to figure out just what "Good News" they're talking about. I got the chance to visit this club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and loved helping the kids with their Bible memory verses.

On the day I was there Director Trevor Brown had a surprise. These kids were going shopping, courtesy of Operation Blessing. Trevor told me some of the kids come from families who don't have a lot and don't get to buy new clothes. Operation Blessing's Back-to-School shopping program is a great way to show them that someone cares about them and that God cares about their specific situation.

"With God we get through it," she said, "With God's help on my side, even if it seems unbearable, when I pray for extra strength and He takes me the extra mile."

And todaythat means shopping! Verney wasted no time putting Operation Blessing's gift certificate to good use. And although Vivi's son doesn't attend the Good News Club because of his special needs, Operation Blessing made sure Tyran wasn't left out.

BTS_GoodNews4.jpgIt was a day every child at the Good News Club enjoyed. Clothes- hats- and school supplies made their way home, all courtesy of Operation Blessing. And none of this would be possible without those who give generously to make such shopping trips happen. With your 700 Club membership, Operation Blessing can help these families send their children back to the classroom well equipped and feeling good about themselves.

So, from every child at the Good News Club, and from every parent who knows what it's like to struggle, I'd like to say thank you on their behalf. And, please join with us today!
