Noei Finds Strength and Joy Through Superbook
Eleven-year-old Noei lives in Thailand with her grandparents and younger brother. Her hair was full of lice; in her poverty she acquired a habit of collecting and saving things to share with her brother and grandmother. Yet, beneath this exterior was a heart full of potential and a spirit yearning for love and acceptance.
Noei’s life began to change when she started attending a local Christian community center. Here she was introduced to the teachings of God through Superbook Academy and began receiving food blessings for her family. Noei’s teacher even took her to have her lice treated one evening. This support marked the beginning of a profound transformation. From hoarding food, Noei learned the joy of sharing. Her rough speech softened, and she became beloved by her peers.
For seven months, Noei immersed herself in Superbook lessons every Saturday at the center.
