Noei Finds Strength and Joy Through Superbook

Eleven-year-old Noei lives in Thailand with her grandparents and younger brother. Her grandfather, despite being over 60, is the primary breadwinner, while her grandmother works sporadically due to health issues. The absence of her mother, who has remarried and lives elsewhere, leaves a void in Noei’s heart. She eagerly anticipates her mother’s visits, which occur every few months, preparing days in advance for these cherished moments.

Two years ago, Noei was a lonely child, burdened by the harsh realities of her family’s financial struggles. Her hair was full of lice; in her poverty she acquired a habit of collecting and saving things to share with her brother and grandmother. Yet, beneath this exterior was a heart full of potential and a spirit yearning for love and acceptance.

Noei’s life began to change when she started attending a local Christian community center. Here she was introduced to the teachings of God through Superbook Academy and began receiving food blessings for her family. Noei’s teacher even took her to have her lice treated one evening. This support marked the beginning of a profound transformation. From hoarding food, Noei learned the joy of sharing. Her rough speech softened, and she became beloved by her peers.

For seven months, Noei immersed herself in Superbook lessons every Saturday at the center. Through the adventures of Joy, Chris, and Gizmo, and the timeless stories of the Bible, she found guidance for her daily challenges. These lessons instilled in her a sense of self-worth and the comforting knowledge that she is loved by God.

One of the most remarkable moments in Noei’s journey was during a Superbook camp. Standing before hundreds, she bravely led a prayer, a testament to her newfound confidence and faith. Her teachers have witnessed her ongoing positive changes, expressing gratitude for the divine intervention that has brightened Noei’s life. Her eyes now sparkle with joy, and her smile radiates warmth.

Noei’s faith has become her anchor. In moments of fear or uncertainty, she turns to prayer, finding solace and strength. Her transformation is not just spiritual but also emotional and social. The once lonely and neglected child is now a beacon of hope and inspiration.

Noei is just one of millions of children whose lives have been significantly impacted by Superbook and CBN Animation.
