Rebellious Youngster Learns Obedience from Superbook

In the vibrant and diverse country of Indonesia, an 8-year-old girl named Mila loved to spend her time playing, often at the expense of her responsibilities and respect towards her parents. Her playful nature led her to disobey and say rude things to her parents, and she rarely attended Sunday school. Over time, Mila’s attitude became increasingly stubborn. She not only resisted worship but also became lazy in her studies, much to the distress of her mother.

Concerned about her daughter’s behavior, Mila’s mother sought advice from the Superbook Sunday school teacher. After much persuasion from the teacher, Mila finally agreed to attend church. Initially, she felt uncomfortable and out of place. However, as the Superbook episode began to unfold, Mila found herself captivated by the presentation.

The story of “Noah and the Ark” particularly touched Mila’s heart. The narrative of Noah's obedience to God and the consequences of disobedience resonated deeply with her. The thought of being punished by God for her own disobedience struck a chord, sparking a profound change within her.

From that moment on, Mila's attitude began to shift. She transformed from a rebellious and lazy child into a diligent Sunday school student who attended classes willingly. At home, she chose to be more obedient and respectful towards her parents. This transformation was not just a superficial change but a deep, heartfelt shift in her behavior and outlook on life.

Mila's newfound faith and enthusiasm extended beyond her own life. She became brave enough to invite her friends to Sunday school, eager to share the joy and peace she had found. “I attend Sunday school because I was prayed for by the Sunday school teacher and have become brave enough to lead prayers,” Mila shared. Her courage and willingness to lead prayers were a testament to the significant impact Superbook had on her life.

Mila's story is a powerful example of how Superbook can bring hope and transformation to children's lives. By making biblical stories accessible and engaging, Superbook helps children connect with the Word of God and experience Jesus’s love in a meaningful way. Mila's journey from disobedience to faith highlights the incredible power of storytelling and the importance of sharing these stories with young hearts. Superbook has the potential to reach even more children, offering them the same hope and transformation experienced by Mila.
