Superbook Lights Up Young Hearts in Croatia
At the end of August, something extraordinary happened in a picturesque town just outside Zagreb, Croatia. The local church was hosting its annual Children’s Summer Program—a time of learning, laughter, and spiritual growth. But this year, there was a special surprise waiting for the children.
The team from CBN Animation’s Superbook arrived early, quietly setting up so no one would suspect what was coming. When the moment finally arrived, the children’s faces lit up with excitement. The highlight of the day? When Gizmo himself walked in! Laughter and cheers filled the room as the beloved Superbook character made his grand entrance.
Around 150 people were present—120 children along with parents and other adults. The summer program focused on the life of the Apostle Paul, making the team’s visit especially meaningful. The Superbook episode shared with the children connected perfectly with the camp’s theme, adding vibrant visuals, engaging storytelling, and powerful faith lessons that captured every child’s attention.
After the screening, the Superbook team held a Q&A session. The children amazed the team with their answers, showing how deeply they understood the Bible and the Apostle Paul’s journey. Their enthusiasm was a beautiful reminder that God’s Word is alive and active—even in the hearts of the youngest believers.
The Superbook team was especially thankful for the priest and young leaders who prepared everything with such dedication. Their commitment reflects a growing generation of faith-filled leaders in Croatia. Despite heavy rain on the way back, the team returned encouraged and inspired. Superbook continues to open doors, ignite hearts, and share God’s Word—town by town, school by school, church by church across the region.
