Superbook Lights the Way in Ukraine
In the heart of Ukraine, amid the quiet resilience of communities facing uncertainty, something extraordinary happened this summer. One weekend in the city of Kamianka, nestled in the Cherkasy region, a children’s camp called “Super Journeys with Gizmo” opened its doors to nearly 80 young hearts. Each day, these children embarked on exciting adventures to different countries—guided not by maps, but by the timeless stories of the Bible brought to life through CBN Animation’s Superbook.
The camp was a sanctuary of joy, laughter, and spiritual awakening. In a region where daily life can be shadowed by conflict and hardship, the camp became a beacon of light. Thanks to the protection provided by Ukrainian soldiers, the event was held in safety, allowing children to experience the love of God without fear.
Each day was filled with Bible stories, reflections, and prayers. Through Superbook’s animated episodes, children saw the courage of David, the faith of Daniel, and the compassion of Jesus. For Denis and Svitlana, the couple who organized the camp, this was their very first time using Superbook curriculum to put on a camp like this. Reflecting on the experience, Svitlana shared:
