What Do Muslims Think about Obama?

When Time Magazine came out with its recent poll that stated as many as 24 percent of Americans believe President Obama is a Muslim, it set off a national debate.

The controversy reminded me of an interview we did last year with Professor Moshe Sharon of Hebrew University, a leading expert on Islam. We interviewed Sharon just before Obama delivered his speech in Cairo, Egypt to the Muslim world on June 4, 2009.

During our interview, Sharon addressed the question not whether President Obama is a Muslim, but how Muslims themselves percieve the President of the United States.
