The Irony of Operation Peace Spring
President Recep Erdogan, in an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, said that his military operation in northeast Syria is to create a place for displaced Syrian refugees to return home to. However, as Turkish troops move through the region, it's triggering a new wave of Syrian displacement. According to the UN tens of thousands of civilians have fled specifically due to Turkey's attacks. CBN News International correspondent George Thomas is in Syria, traveling with an Iraqi charity.
