In Myanmar, where Buddhist traditions are deeply rooted, 11-year-old Chit grew up in a poor family struggling to make ends meet. To help support his family, Chit sold filling tape for cookware in the local market—a heavy responsibility for someone so young. Life was hard, and Chit had never heard about God. When he first attended Sunday school, he was nervous and shy, barely able to speak to other children. He didn’t know how to lean on God or where to find hope.
