Amber C.
Strong
Amber Strong joined the CBN News team in Washington, D.C., in 2014 as a producer and field producer, later transitioning into roles as a correspondent, producer, and backup anchor.
In 2019, she became a political reporter for the cable channel Newsy, and in 2021, she began work as a national correspondent and documentary host for Scripps News in Washington. Her work as a documentary correspondent—particularly her coverage of environmental issues, as well as social and healthcare inequities—has earned several national news nominations, including recognition from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and a National Emmy.
She returned to CBN News in 2025 and now proudly serves as the Senior Managing News Producer for the Washington News Bureau, where she also occasionally contributes on-air reporting.
While she loves her current home base in Washington, D.C., Amber is a Hoosier at heart. A proud graduate of Harding University’s School of Journalism, she lives and breathes politics but has made it her mission to tell the stories of the unseen, give a voice to the unheard, and highlight the ways Christ is at work in the world around us.
