Youth Weep 'Tears of Joy' at IHOP Prayer Conference
More than 15,000 young adults recently attended the International House of Prayer Onething conference.
Charisma News reports that one of the most well-known figures speaking at the conference was Southern Baptist Convention President Ronnie Floyd.
Floyd spoke on the need for prayer and revival across the country.
He told attendees that while they may not all agree completely in terms of theology, it's important to come together.
"If we're honest with each other, we know that thousands of us that are filling this convention center and thousands of us that are watching this online, we're not in total agreement about life, ministry, or the Bible," Floyd said. "Yet my being here is a clear indication that people must come together and pray."
Other speakers at the four-day conference included Francis Chan, Reinhard Bonnke, and Daniel Kolenda.
Attendees spoke out on social media and on the Onething app about the powerful time of worship and prayer.
"As a Catholic Charismatic, I wept tears of joy so many times this week as I had the privilege of worshipping the living God with so many diverse brothers and sisters in Christ," attendee Leslie Bertucci posted .
"Still in awe and basking in his presence from it," another attendee Lisa Murillo-Campbell posted. "This is the most profound Onething! I believe all the unity invited into this conference, released such a powerful anointing into the atmosphere all over!"
