Obamacare Cost May Rise Significantly in 2016
The price of Obamacare could rise substantially for millions of Americans next year, experts tell Politico.com.
In its first two years, Obamacare costs have already gone up and some say they could rise even more significantly next year.
Plans in some states could see 25 to 30 percent increases, while others may also go up, but maybe not as much. Many states have yet to publicize their proposed rate hikes.
Rising costs come as Republicans look at alternatives for the Affordable Care Act.
"Republicans are offering real solutions that will end these destructive and expensive Obamacare side effects," Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., said on the Senate floor before the Memorial Day recess.
Obamacare is facing a major challenge at the Supreme Court, with a ruling likely in the next several weeks.
