'A Public Display of Courageous Christianity': TPUSA Faith Aims to Restore Nation’s Biblical Values
Thousands of Christians gathered last weekend to worship together in Richmond, VA, as part of the ‘Kingdom to the Capitol Tour’. It's a nationwide event by Turning Point USA Faith and Let Us Worship that aims to bring a revitalization of Christianity to all 50 states.
David Engelhardt, Turning Point USA Faith board member, described 'Kingdom to the Capitol' as "a public display of courageous Christianity that stands up against the [silencing of beliefs]," and shared that the hope was that "hearts would be awakened to care for the nation."
Engelhardt tells CBN News that part of their mission is to "teach people to battle wokeism and secularism," and that through this, they are attempting to "orient leaders and pastors to learn how to navigate through cultural and secular ideas and issues."
Sean Feucht, an activist, missionary, and musician aims to "witness a generation of bold, burning hearts with sacrificial pursuit after the Presence of God arise across the nations of the world." This goal has contributed to his latest cause as 'Kingdom to the Capitol' seeks to see this restoration come to fruition throughout the nation.
Feucht’s Let Us Worship ministry recognizes that, "The fervor to worship God free from government edict and societal persecution drove [the creation of America] on a simple premise that all men are created equal and cannot be denied their inalienable rights to life and liberty."
The partnership between these two ministries has amassed a significant turnout and following from Christians around the United States with 13 states remaining on the tour.
Thank you VIRGINIA for coming together to glorify God in a state that is hurting & in need of God!
