THE GLOBAL LANE: Blasphemy Laws Could Lead to Violator's Execution, but Gov't Attitudes Changing
Around the world, Christians and other religious minorities face punishment if convicted of blasphemy against Islam.
In about 20 countries, a conviction for violating a national blasphemy law could lead to execution.
This week's episode of The Global Lane features two guests. One was jailed in Sudan, and the other from the campaign to Abolish Blasphemy and Apostasy Laws.
Both of them say government attitudes are changing in some Islamic countries.
