Christian Broadcasting Network founder and 700 Club host Pat Robertson is featured in a new video endorsing executive producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey's new faith-based TV show, A.D. The Bible Continues.

Robertson calls the show "a magnificent series", telling viewers, "you don't want to miss this because it's historically accurate and an absolutely wonderful television experience."

Starring a relatively new cast, A.D. follows what happens to the disciples after the death and resurrection of Jesus. In describing the 12-week series, Burnett says A.D. is Games of Thrones and House of Cards meets The Bible. The political and personal drama that unfolded during the start of the early Christian Church are what the producers hope to show a national primetime television audience.

A.D. The Bible Continues premieres on Easter Sunday, April 5th, at 9/8c on NBC.
