Finding Hope During Prime Time

CBN.com — Lately, Prasith has had trouble sleeping.  He hadn’t been able to find work because of his disability.

"In the past I had never been able to find work, because here companies don’t hire the handicapped."

Prasith had contracted polio as a child.  His older brother had taken care of him until he recently died.  That meant Prasith would have to find a job.  But all he received were rejection letters from potential employers.   Depressed, one night Prasith turned on the CBN program From Heart to Heart—the Thailand version of The 700 Club.

"They were talking about Jesus’ words, 'Come unto me all ye who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.'  I wondered if He really could help me."

Prasith called the number on the screen, and then prayed to receive Jesus as his Savior.  He then joined a nearby  church.   He watched the Thai 700 Club whenever it aired and began to ask God to provide him with a job.

"I believe Jesus heard my prayers. A call center I’d applied to gave me my first full-time job!  The company didn’t mind that I was disabled!"

Prasith has been working as an call agent at a mobile phone call center in Thailand for the past two years, and he excels at his what he does.  

"I have a good job and new friends.  All these are from God.  I want to thank CBN for connecting me to Him!"
