Exclusive Video: Dr. James Dobson: More People Will Be Praying on the National Day of Prayer because of the Controversy
In an exclusive interview, Dr. James Dobson tells The Brody File that the publicity over Franklin Graham not being allowed to speak at a National Day of Prayer event at the Pentagon has actually been good because it has generated more publicity for the big day.Dr. Dobson told me,"What Satan intends for evil God intends for good."
I interviewed both Dr.James Dobson and Franklin Graham together in Washington. They were in town taking part in a National Day of Prayer pre-event hosted at the Family Research Council. The Brody File camera was allowed exclusive access.

Dr. James Dobson: "There's been an accumulation of pressure on people of faith and especially Christians for a number of years. So, this is just an increase in that criticism and that effort to drive people of faith out of the public square. But, I said a few minutes ago when I spoke that what Satan intends for evil, God intends for good. The cause for this pressure and the discomfort of the National Day of Prayer Task Force and Dr. Graham being more or less dis-invited from the Pentagon, it's all over the place. Why are we talking about it today? It is all over the place. And probably, the National Day of Prayer, I don't doubt, is getting more attention, and more people are getting involved in it, adn I believe more people are going to be praying on the National Day of Prayer, because of that. So, we're not discouraged. And, I can't tell you how much I appreciate this man because he has taken the heat, but he has done it with grace. And what he said just now is why I appreciate him so much, because he takes an opportunity like this and goes straight for the gospel, and straight for the good news and straight for the cross. "
Dr. Dobson makes a point that millions of Evangelical Christians live by. God can take a bad situation and turn it for good. It's all about being in His will. Easier said than done right?
